MTV Games Launches Rock Band Network Music Store
Montag, 15. März 2010New York – Viacom’s (NYSE: VIA) MTV Games and developer Harmonix on Thursday launched the Rock Band Network Music Store, an online store featuring user-created tracks that can be downloaded for play along with the “Rock Band” music karaoke game. More than 100 songs are available at launch, from bands including the Shins and Of Montreal; an additional 300 tracks are also in the works. Billboard reports that licensing terms will see MTV retain 70% of all sales from the Rock Band Network Music Store.
